This petition has been filed to modify the bail condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.17489 of 2008 dated 11.08.2008 that the father of the petitioner T.G.Chellappan shall furnish property security to the value of Rs.1 crore, while granting bail for the offences under Sections 465, 467, 468, 471, 477-A, 420 r/w 120B of IPC in Crime No.468 of 2008.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the property, which was furnished by his father itself valued more than one crore. Therefore, the third party property which has to be deposited, as directed by this Court, may be discharged.

3. However, on perusal of the valuation certificate produced by the petitioner, it is seen that the valuer is a private person and the petitioner failed to obtain the valuation certificate from the authority concerned. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to modify the condition imposed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file fresh petition with proper valuation certificate from the authority concerned. 11.08.2022 Lpp 1/3
