ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that The petitioner, being lady, who belongs to orthodox devout Muslim, not concerned about her social status, she is called for enquiry at the odd hours by the respondent police.

3. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) submitted that the petitioner has cheated several persons. Amongst them, only 3 persons so far lodged complaints and 3 CSRs issued, for which, she was called for enquiry by the respondent police only with the help of women police, which cannot be termed as harassment . Taking advantage of her social status as orthodox Muslim, she is refusing to appear before the respondent police . 4. This Court considered the submissions made on either side and perused the materials available on records carefully.

5. Considering the nature of the allegations levelled against the petitioner and 3 CSRs pending as against her, this Court finds calling the petitioner for enquiry cannot be termed as an harassment and hence this Criminal Original Petition is liable to be dismissed.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
