With the consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final hearing.
2. Since a limited prayer has been sought for in this Writ Petition by the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed.
3. The petitioner is aged about 19 years. She had obtained low marks in Mathematics in the Exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education during March, 2020. Therefore, she appeared in the compartment exam conducted in September, 2020. The result was announced on 13.10.2020.
4. However, by then, the respondent had already closed the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
date for filing application for B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture. The original date for filing application was extended from 17.09.2020 to 05.10.2020 by the respondent. Since the petitioner's result was announced after the said date, she was not able to file her application. The petitioner has also given a representation dated 14.10.2020 before the respondent to consider her application. No action has been taken on the said representation. The petitioner has relied upon the decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Anika Samvedi and Others Vs. Union of India and Another, dated 24.09.2020 in Writ Petition Civil No.927 of 2020.
5. Without going into the merits, I direct the respondent to consider the representation dated 14.10.2020 given by the petitioner and pass appropriate order within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed with the above observations. No cost.
