ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Criminal Original Petition to quash the FIR in Crime No.607 of 2012 pending on the file of the respondent police.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in the case in Crime No.607 of 2012, after completion of investigation, charge sheet was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Palacode and the same was taken on file as CC No.98 of 2014. Subsequently, after trial, the petitioner was also acquitted from the charges by order dated 03.07.2014.

3. Since the charge sheet has already been filed in Crime No.607 of 2012 and the case ended in acquittal, nothing survives for adjudication in this matter. Hence, recording the submission so made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
