ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.04.2026.

2. Ms.Inthu Karunakaran, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 & 2.

3. By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner filed a representation dated 10.04.2026 before the 1st & 2nd respondents, requesting them to correct the East - West measurements wrongly recorded in the manual and online Revenue Records and Field Measurement Book (FMB) in respect of Natham Survey Nos.1562/ 11, 1562/12, and 1563/3 in Thaiyur Village, Thiruporur Taluk, Chengalpattu District, in accordance with

the original title deeds. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the 1st & 2nd respondents till date. Hence, this petition.

5. In reply, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation will be disposed of within a period of 8 weeks and hence, she requests this Court to pass appropriate orders.

6. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.

7. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.04.2026 and after issuing notice to all concerned parties and after conducting thorough enquiry, dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

8. It is made clear that this order is passed only for the purpose of making corrections with regard to the measurements, which are wrongly recorded. If there is any dispute with regard to the possession/title over the subject property, the same has to be decided only by way of filing a suit before an appropriate Civil Court.
