(This case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police in connection with the case in Crime No. 18 of 2020 for the alleged offence under Sections 120-B, 408, 420, 477-A and 506(ii) of IPC on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that on filing the final report, cognizance was taken in C.C.No.188 of 2020 by the learned Judicial Magistrate-VII, Coimbatore and summons has been sent to the petitioner/absconding accused.

3. In the light of the above said position, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed and the petitioner is directed to appear before the Judicial Magistrate concerned and seek appropriate remedy.
