ORDER
(The case has been heard through video conference) The Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 407 Cr.P.C. to withdraw the C.C.No.8741 of 2014, pending on the file of the X Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore, Chennai and transfer the same to the file of the Principal Family Court, Chennai for joint trial with O.P.No.3012 of 2013 and O.P.No.2785 of 2013, pending on the file of the Principal Family Court, Chennai.
2.When the matter is taken up today for hearing, Mrs.Sudha Ramlingam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mrs.Sunitha Chakaravarthy, learned counsel representing M/s.Geetha Ramaseshan, for the respondent are present before this Court. Learned counsel representing the respondent would submit that after filing this petition, both the petitioner and the respondent / complainant got divorced, pursuant to which, C.C.No.8741 of 2014, pending on the file of the X Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore, Chennai has been withdrawn by the respondent / complainant and she would submit https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
that nothing survives in this petition for further adjudication.
3.Mrs.Sudha Ramlingam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would also submit that C.C.No.8741 of 2014 has been withdrawn by the respondent / complainant. 4.In view of the above, nothing survives in this petition for further adjudication. This Criminal Original Petition stands closed accordingly. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
