The petitioner seeks direction upon the respondent to take petitioner's complaint, dated 24.02.2015 on file, and register a case against the persons named in his complaint, investigate the matter and file a final report in accordance with law. 2.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, representing the respondentPolice. 3.
It is seen that the petitioner has given complaint to the Superintendent of Police. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Station House Officer, and lodge his complaint along with medical certificate. In the event of complaint is being lodged by the petitioner, the Station House Officer is directed to conduct enquiry and register an FIR, if cognizable offence is made out, by following the dictum laid down by the Hon'ble Apex Court in re Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others reported in [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)].
