O R D E R
(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 379, 430 of IPC r/w 21(5) of Mines and Minerals (Development & Regulation) Act, 1957 in Crime No.2459 of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is owner of the Tractor has committed theft of one unit of river sand illegally in the aforesaid vehicle.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he did not commit any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

Following the dictum of this Court in the case of Bala @ Balasubramani versus Inspector of Police, Thakkolam Police Station, Vellore District reported in 2020 2 Law Weekly Crl 528, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
