ORDER

The petitioner/wife is the respondent in I.D.O.P.No.22 of 2024 before the Family Court, Salem. The said proceeding has been initiated by the respondent/husband.

2.Despite service of notice in the above transfer petition, the 1/4

respondent has neither chosen to appear in person nor through counsel. The respondent is called and set ex-parte. Hence, I have proceeded to hear the learned counsel for the petitioner. I have also gone through the affidavit filed in support of the request for transfer.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has filed I.D.O.P.No.58 of 2024, which is pending before the Family Court, Krishnagiri and he also took me through the averments, where the petitioner has raised genuine inconvenience to attend the hearings before the Family Court, Salem.

4.Considering that there is a connected petition before the Family Court, Krishnagiri, and no prejudice would caused to the respondent/husband, if the transfer request of the petitioner is acceded to. 5.In the light of the above, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed. The case in I.D.O.P.No.22 of 2024 is hereby withdrawn from the file of the Family Court, Salem and transferred to the file of the Family Court, Krishnagiri, to be jointly tried along with I.D.O.P.No.58 of 2024. 2/4

There shall be no order as to costs. Connected Civil Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
