The relief sought for in this writ petition is to direct the respondent to consider the representation dated 25.12.2024 on behalf of the petitioners.
2. Mr.U.Baranidharan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of first respondent. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.

The case of the petitioners is that the properties comprised in S.Nos.360/1, 364, 362/1A, 401/2A, 359/1 & 359/2A belongs to one Mr.Sethapathy, who executed a sale agreement with absolute right of sale over the said properties to petitioner's father viz., Mr.Ramalingam by receiving a sum of Rs.2 crores. This being so, on 21.02.2013, the petitioners father sold the aforesaid properties to the petitioners by way of sale deed Doc.Nos.1506 & 1507 of 2013. Under these circumstances, the second respondent, who is the daughter of Mr.Sethapathy fraudulently executed a settlement deed dated 23.04.2013 with respect to the aforesaid properties in favour of her husband, who is none other than the third respondent. Pursuant thereto, the third respondent fraudulently 2/6
sold the said properties to the fourth respondent vide sale deed dated 30.08.2024. Without knowing the foregoing facts, the first respondent registered the settlement deed dated 23.04.2013 and the sale deed dated 30.08.2024. Therefore, the petitioners sent a representation dated 25.12.2024 to the first respondent, seeking cancellation of the said documents. However, the said representation was not considered, as on date. Hence, the petitioners have come forward with the present writ petition.
4. Though many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioners' representation dated 25.12.2024.
5. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent submitted that the petitioners' representation dated 25.12.2024 would be considered and appropriate orders passed, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

6. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

Considering the limited relief sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 25.12.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
