No.9282/ E2/2016-5 dated 26.09.2016 and quash the proceedings dated 30.5.2016 and 26.9.2016 and consequently direct the respondents to settle all the retirement benefits of the petitioner.

ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking to quash the 1st respondent's Letter No.9282/ E2/2016-2, dated 30.5.2016 and Letter No.9282/ E2/2016-5 dated 26.9.2016 and to direct the respondents to settle all the retirement benefits of the petitioner.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the there is no instruction from the petitioner to prosecute the Writ Petition.

3. Learned counsel for the respondents submit that petitioner is no more and the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner were dropped and pensionery benefits were already been settled to the family of the petitioner and therefore, the cause in the present Writ Petition does not survive.

4. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. K.SURENDER, J.
