The transfer order is challenged primarily on the ground that the second respondent has no jurisdiction to effect transfer of Assistant Jailors from one Jail to another.
2. Since the petitioner has taken up a jurisdictional issue, I have stayed the impugned order by order dated 16.2.2015.
3. When the Writ Petition was taken up for consideration today, the learned Additional Government Pleader has produced a copy of the proceedings dated 15.3.2015, cancelling the transfer order and retaining the petitioner at Arokonam.
