Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to pass orders, directions, writs in particular a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to permit the petitioner and his family member to enter, worship and participate in the Maha Kumbhabhisekam for Sri Sakthi Vinayagar, Sri Vallu, Devesena Samedha Sri Subramaniar, Sri Maha Mariamman Thirukoil, PudhuNannaram Village, Ulundurpet Taluk, Kallakurichi District, which is scheduled on 25.10.2020 and 26.10.2020 and on all further days.

ORDER

(The case has been heard through video conference) The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to permit the petitioner and his family member to enter, worship and participate in the Maha Kumbhabhisekam for Sri Sakthi Vinayagar, Sri Vallu, Devesena Samedha Sri Subramaniar, Sri Maha Mariamman Thirukoil, PudhuNannaram Village, Ulundurpet Taluk, Kallakurichi District, which is scheduled on 25.10.2020 and 26.10.2020 and on all further days.

2.Mr.S.Thangavelu, learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that the second respondent/Thashildar has initiated a peace committee meeting between the feuding members of the community to allow the petitioner and his family members to participate in the temple festival, which is to be held on 25.10.2020 and 26.10.2020. He further submits that police protection will also be given to the petitioner and his family members.
