O R D E R

Seeking issuance of patta for the lands situated in S.F.No.243/2, measuring an extent of 0.40.50 hectare (1 acre), situated at Sirumugai Village, Mettupalayam Taluk, Coimbatore District, the petitioner made a representation on 12.08.2015. On its receipt, the first respondent in and by the memo in O.Mu.17994/2015/E1 dated 13.11.2015 directed the second respondent to look into the same and take appropriate action. Since no action has been taken, the petitioner has come forward with a prayer to issue patta.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.The relief sought for per se cannot be granted as the matter has to be considered by the second respondent before whom it is pending. Thus, the said authority is directed to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

pass final order pursuant to the memo of the first respondent dated 13.11.2015 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and parties involved. 4.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
