(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Section 379 IPC in Crime No.858 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.On perusal of the First Information Report, this Court finds that the petitioner herein is involved in theft of cattle and based on the said complaint, the police has arrested the petitioner herein. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.Since the investigation is in initial stage, without apprehending the petitioner and conducting the custodial interrogation, the involvement of the petitioner herein in other crimes will not come to light.
