ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's representation made on 31.10.2016 and 02.11.2016 and to effect the drainage connection for the building at Door No.33/12, 1st Floor, 13th Lane, Indira Nagar, Adyar, Chennai 600 020.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner was already granted drainage connection to the above multi storeyed building at Door No.33/12, 1st Floor, 13th Lane, Indira Nagar, Adyar, Chennai. Therefore, another drainage connection cannot be granted.

As such, the writ petition is devoid of merits and liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
