This writ petition has been filed to direct the fourth respondent to dispose of the representation, dated 20/9/2016, pending before the fourth respondent.
2. The case of the petitioner is that petitioner is the first legally wedded wife of Mr.Selvaraj. But the name of fifth respondent/third wife of Selvaraj, has been included in the ration card. Hence the petitioner had submitted a representation, dated 20/9/2016 to the respondents for the Page No:2/4
removal of her name in the ration card. Since the said representation is still pending, the petitioner has come forward with the instant writ petition praying for the relief as stated therein.
3. Heard Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 4. There is no representation on behalf of the fifth respondent.
4. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 submitted that if a fresh representation is given by the petitioner, they will consider the same and pass orders on merits.
5. Accordingly, petitioner is directed to submit a representation to the fourth respondent, within a period of two weeks from today. On such representation being received, the fourth respondent shall consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of one month, thereafter.
