This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the respondent in connection with the impugned order passed by him in ROC No.A1/2138/2017 dated 25.03.2017 and quash the same and direct the respondent to reinstate the petitioner into service and grant him all consequential service and monetary benefits. The order of suspension dated 25.03.2017, on account of the registration of a criminal case under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.

2. Undoubtedly, the allegations against the writ petitioner is serious in nature warranting an enquiry. The criminal case registered against the writ petitioner is pending. However, the charge sheet has not been laid so far.

3. This being the factum of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted on 27.05.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
