The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the various representations and particularly the petition dated 19.10.2024 and accord pay fixation as a secondary grade teacher, taking stock of last drawn salary as on 04.12.2006 2/6
at TELC Government aided Primary School, Karacheri, with all continuity attendant and monetary benefits and also to calculate the length of service from 09.05.1995 being the date of joining service at Government aided School, for the purpose of calculation of pension and all other benefits at the time of superannuation.
2. It is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner was joined in TELC Primary school on 05.06.1995 and served there until 04.12.2006. It is the further submission of the petitioner that the said school is a Government aided school. Subsequently, the petitioner was appointed afresh through a fresh recruitment process in the Panchayat Union School, Sulur.
3. It is the grievance of the petitioner that her last drawn salary was not protected upon her appointment in the Panchayat Union School. Hence, she has sent representation to the respondents 1 to 4 on 19.10.2024. However, the said representation has not been considered by the respondents 1 to 4 till date.

4. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the above submission, this Court without going into the merits of the matter, deems it appropriate to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass order on it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 06.06.2025 jas Index : Yes/No Speaking order /Non Speaking Order 4/6
