By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2.According to the petitioner, he is a deaf and dumb and he was selected as Assistant and posted in Perappadi Primary Agricultural Co-operative Credit Society in Thanjavur District. But, the President of the said Society did not allow him to join duty and therefore, he gave a representation to the respondent to post him in some other Society in the District of Cuddalore on 17.04.2015.
3.Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that as per the guidelines of the Government, the physically challenged Government servants shall be posted to the nearest of their native place, but, in the instant case, the petitioner was https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
posted in a far off place and therefore, the respondent may be directed to consider the representation of the petitioner. 4.Heard the submissions of Mr.C.Prakasam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Ms.T.P.Saritha, learned Government Advocate for the respondent.
5.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the case, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.04.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
