This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking to quash Spl.S.C.No.6 of 2018 pending on the file of the Special Court of District Judge for cases under SC and ST (Prevention of Atrocities Act 1989), Salem.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the petition and he has also made an endorsement in the Court bundles, today, to that effect.
