Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant all consequential benefits to the petitioner consequent on the inclusion of her name in the Panel of Assistant District Social Welfare Officers for 1996-1997 on par with her juniors as informed to her by the second respondent in Roc.No.12160/Admn 1 (1)/2012 dated 17.07.2013.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the respondents to grant all consequential benefits in view of her name included in the Panel of Assistant District Social Welfare Officers for 1996-1997 on par with her juniors.

2.When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the relief sought for by the petitioner has been granted to her vide proceedings of the Commissioner of Social Welfare, Chennai, in Se.Mu.Na.Ka.No.12160/Admn 1(3)/2012, dated 10.03.2021 and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The above said submission was agreed by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, however, he sought liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondents for other benefits, if any.

4.Granting such liberty to the petitioner, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
