ORDER
With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. This Writ Petition is filed to direct the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 18.02.2023.
3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and the learned counsel appearing for the fourth respondent dand perused the materials available on record.
4. The case of the petitioner is that the land of the petitioner has been acquired by the Government for Bangalore Chennai Expressway and compensation has also been awarded. Challenging the same, the petitioner has filed appeals before the first respondent as per Section 3G[5] of the National Highways Act 1956. The grievance of the petitioner is that no enquiry has been conducted and the appeals are pending without any progress. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeals filed by the petitioner dated 18.02.2023 and pass Orders on the same in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
