2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the 1st and 2nd respondents.

3. The petitioner is the husband of the alleged detenue Salini. The petitioner alleges that she has been abducted by her father, the 3rd respondent herein.

4. Today, when the matter was taken up for admission, the 2nd respondent produced the detenue, Salini, who appeared through video conferencing. She has been duly identified by Thiru.Rajasekar, Sub-Inspector of Police, Manalurpet Police Station. Salini stated in clear terms that she is not interested to continue to live with the petitioner, Vignesh and that she wants to be only with her father. Salini is not a minor. She long ago attained majority. She is with the 3rd respondent/father on her own accord.

5. Since, we are satisfied that Salini has not been illegally detained, this Habeas Corpus Petition is liable to be closed. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(CS-VII) //True copy// Sub Assistant Registrar vsi/mrm To
