Mr.D.Raja, learned counsel representing the counsel on record for writ petitioner is before this Court. Mr.Pramod Kumar Chopda, learned senior standing counsel accepts notice on behalf of both the respondents.
2.With the consent of learned counsel on both sides, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3.In the hearing, learned counsel for writ petitioner abridges/restricts his prayer and submits that writ petitioner will be satisfied if the representation given by the writ petitioner being representation dated 30.05.2019, pertaining to writ petitioner's consignment slated to be exported to Malayasia, that is now held up in Kattupalli port, is disposed of within a time frame.
4.Considering the innocuous nature of the prayer, this Court is of the considered view that it would be appropriate to direct the second respondent in instant writ petition, namely the Assistant Commissioner of Customs, Exports, Customs House, Chennai - 600 001 to dispose of the writ petitioner's representation dated 30.05.2019 (to be noted, the representation is at Page 13 of the typed-set of papers filed by the writ petitioner along with the writ petition and forming part of the case file) within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
