ORDER
(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 497, 506(i) of IPC in an unknown Crime Number on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the police is unnecessarily calling him under the guise of the enquiry and harassing him at the instance of one Rajkumar who claims to be the close Associate of the IPS Officers.
3.The learned Government Advocate would submit that on receiving the complaint from R.Steffi Selvamary, the respondent police has summoned the petitioner herein to appear for enquiry. Pursuant to the summons, the petitioner appeared before the Investigation Officer on 16.10.2020 and both the parties have agreed to come again on 30.10.2020.

4.In the light of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this Court finds that the apprehension of the petitioner herein is unfound. The Police is properly handling the matrimonial dispute and grant of Anticipatory Bail to the petitioner herein will not help in the smooth process of the enquiry in this matter.
