Respondents Prayer: This Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the third respondent relates to the impugned order in C.No.A1/1271/2016 dated 15.09.2016 and to quash the same and consequently direct the 1/4

respondents to grant accelerated promotion already given to the petitioner, with retrospective effect from 04.01.1993 with all benefits attached thereto and pass orders.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the third respondent related to the impugned order in C.No.A1/1271/2016 dated 15.09.2016 and to quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to grant accelerated promotion already given to the petitioner, with retrospective effect from 04.01.1993 with all benefits attached thereto.

2. .Today when the matter is taken up for hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner submits the petitioner died and nothing survives in this petition for further adjudication and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.
