ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to register a case based on the complaint preferred by the petitioner dated 16.08.2016 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the Respondent.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that on the complaint given by one Thillaimuthu, who is the husband of the petitioner, the respondent police registered a case in Cr.No.642 of 2016 on 15.08.2016 for offences under Sections 147, 294(b), 323, 324, 506(2) IPC and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002. Recording the same, this petition is closed.
