This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the 1st respondent made in Rc.No.1755/2020/M1 dated 08.10.2020 and quash the same, consequently forbearing the 2nd and 3rd respondents or their subordinates from erecting the High Tension Electric Tower or power transmission line in S.No.116, 117 and 118, near the petitioners house situated in Sogandi Village, Sriperumbattur Taluk, Kancheepuram District and Consequently, direct the respondents to change the tower line route.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the 1st respondent made in Rc.No.1755/2020/M1 dated 08.10.2020 and quash the same, consequently forbearing the 2nd and 3rd respondents or https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

The learned standing counsel appearing on behalf of the second respondent submitted that the work of erection of tower has already been completed and what remains is only to energize the same.

In view of the above, no further orders can be passed in this Writ Petition, which challenges the order passed by the District Collector dated 08.10.2020 permitting the second respondent to erect the tower.

This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
