KRISHNAN RAMASAMY J., The applicant has filed the present application to extend the time in execution of the security bond, as per order dated 30.07.2019 in the O.P.No.914 of 2017.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that due to the onset of Covid-19 and the restrictions imposed by the State in the movement of general public, the petitioner was not able to approach the counsel for further instructions. Further, the husband of the petitioner passed away due to Covid-19 and on account of the same, there is a severe financial strain, hence the delay has occurred in execution of security bond. Therefore, the learned counsel for the petitioner pleaded to extend the time in execution of the security bond, as per the order dated 30.07.2019.

3. Considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and in view of the fact that petitioner was affected with Corona and her husband passed away due to Corona and this Court, being satisfied

with the reasons mentioned in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, is inclined to allow the petition.

4. Accordingly, this application is allowed and time for execution of the security bond, as per order dated 30.07.2019 in O.P.No.914 of 2017, is hereby extended till 16.09.2022.
