This Writ Petition has been filed seeking relief of issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to receive the application of the petitioner dated 03.11.2015 in form CCPA and the prescribed fee for the grant of a auto rickshaw permit and to consider the same and pass orders in accordance with law.

2.Heard the submissions of Mr.J.S.Arunkumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

Without going into the merits of the matters, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the Regional Transport Officer, Chennai Central, Chennai, to receive the application of the petitioner, consider the same and pass appropriate orders for grant of auto rickshaw permit, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
