Mr.P.Anandakumar Government Advocate for R1 Mr.V.Vijayashankar for R2 & R3 (in both writ petitions) COMMON ORDER (Made by Dr. ANITA SUMANTH, J.) W.P.No. 9771 of 2014 Mr.K.Balakrishnan, learned counsel, makes an endorsement withdrawing writ petition, recording which, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
W.P.No. 9772 of 2014
2. The prayer is for a mandamus directing the respondents to 2/5
establish (i) Special Court for SC/ST(POA) Act 1989 and (ii) Family Court in Tindivanam Town.
3. Mr.Balakrishnan states that representations have been made before the Court seeking the same relief as in this writ petition. It is only appropriate that the petitioner pursue those matters on the administrative side, as we are disinclined to consider the same on the judicial side.
4. Mr.Vijayshankar, appearing for the Registrar General has written instructions to say that both the Family Court and Special Court for SC/ST (POA) are normally constituted at the district level and, in this case, in Villupuram in 2014 and 2015 respectively.
5. With this, we do not find any impetus to consider grant of mandamus as sought for, and this writ petition is dismissed.
6. There shall be no order as to costs. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
