These Writ petition has been filed seeking to quash the order passed by the first respondent bearing No.VI 3(a)/146/2013 dated 24.10.2013 and the same published in the gazette Notification bearing No.42 dated 30.10.2013 and to quash the same as illegal, arbitrary and without jurisdiction with consequential directions to the first respondent to consider and pass orders in accordance with the Wakf Act, 1995 by holding an enquiry for appointment of Muthavalli in conformity with the Proforma Report bearing Serial No.3 relating to Jumma Mosque masjid, Kallakurichi Villupuram.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the present petition has become infructuous.
