The present Miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 527 days in preferring the above criminal appeal.

2. Satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition and considering the inordinate delay, this Court considers it appropriate to allow this petition on payment of costs. Accordingly, this miscellaneous petition is allowed and the delay of 527 days in preferring the above appeal, is condoned subject to payment of Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only) to the State Legal Services Authority within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of this order, failing which, the petition shall stand dismissed automatically, without further reference to this Court.
