Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, order or direction in the nature of such Writ, directing the respondents herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.08.2020. ORDER

(The case has been heard through video conference) With the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the respondents, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's wife K.Thangalakshmi died due to Corona on 14.06.2020. It is submitted that the Government of Tamil Nadu had stated certain incentives in the form of money and employment to the dependant of the doctors, health staffs, etc., to be compensated due to Covid. Thereafter, a notification has also been issued by the Government on 05.08.2020. However, the name of the petitioner's wife has been missed out in the said notification.

3. The learned counsel for the respondents 5 to 7 submits that the representation of the petitioner and the similarly placed persons are under consideration and will be favourably considered on merits.

4. Recording the same, the respondents are directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 31.08.2020 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5.With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No Costs.
