..Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records of the 1st respondent in connection with the order of 1st respondent dated 25.05.2019 in Memo No. 282/BCDFGISSSV/2019 namely Shiek @ Abdul Khadar, son of Mohamed Sali, aged about 27 years detained as a Goonda under the Tamilnadu Act 14 of 1982 and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the body of the said detenu namely Shiek @ Abdul Khadar, Son of Mohamed Sali, now confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in in Memo No. 282/BCDFGISSSV/2019 dated 25.05.2019 detaining her husband as "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.2379 Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 05.07.2019 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
