PRAYER : This petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondent commission to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 23.10.2014 filed under the Right to Information Act 2005, pending before the 1st respondent- Commission.

ORDER

Aggrieved against the order passed by the respondent No. 2 dated 13.10.2014, the petitioner filed a further appeal to the respondent No.1 on 23.10.2014 which was followed by a reminder sent on 06.11.2015. As the respondent No. 1 has not passed any final order on the appeal dated 23.10.2014, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition before this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Taking into consideration the pendency of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 23.10.2014 before the first respondent, a direction is issued to the first respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's appeal dated 23.10.2014, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
