J U D G M E N T

(Judgment of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) With reference to the writ order impugned, it is brought to the notice of this court that the tenure of the President, Vice President and the members have expired on 05.01.2025. Therefore, the impugned order passed by the District Collector challenging the writ petition became lapsed. Now, the Block Development Officer has taken over the administration of the Panchayat and therefore, the interim arrangement made by the District Collector no longer exists. Thus, no further adjudication on merits needs to be undertaken and consequently, the writ appeal stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
