ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the respondent to execute the non-bailable warrant dated 20.05.2024, issued by the Vth Additional Family Court, Chennai in 1 / 4

M.P.No.1542 of 2023 in M.C.No.333 of 2019 against one R.Sheik Mubarak Ali, son of Abdul Rawoof, within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

2. By order dated 16.06.2025, this Court directed the respondent-Police to execute the NBW and secure the custody of the husband of the petitioner on or before 30.06.2025, failing which, the Station House Officer of the respondent Police station is directed to appear before this Court on 30.06.2025 (today).

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent-Police now submitted that the accused had gone abroad even in 2024 itself. NBW was issued by the Court on 25.05.2024, whereas, according to the report, he had left abroad only in October 2024. Therefore, due to in-action on the part of the respondent-Police, the accused had absconded to abroad.

4. Therefore, the Superintendent of Police, Vellore District is directed to take action against the concerned respondent-Police or the Inspector of Police who was holding the post on the date in between 20.05.2024 and 21.09.2024 and also directed to take action and file report before this Court.
