Prayer: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the constitution of India to issue writ a Mandamus by directing the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner herein.

This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to him.
2. The learned senior counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has borrowed a sum of Rs.1,50,00,000/- from the 4th respondent on 11.03.2020. He would further submit that upto 12.09.2020, the petitioner has paid a sum of Rs.1,70,90,000/- with interest, but still the 4th respondent is demanding Rs.1,30,00,000/- and also sent some of the rowdy elements and thereby, claiming exorbitant interest at the rate of 24%. The 4th respondent even after receiving Rs.1,70,9000/- from the petitioner, he is demanding Rs.1,30,00,000/- from the petitioner by sending rowdy elements. Therefore, the petitioner has made a representation before the respondent police on 19.10.2020 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner, but so far no action has been taken.
3.The learned Government Advocate would submit that the petitioner has preferred a complaint before some other jurisdiction and yesterday only they have received the complaint. Therefore, he seeks time to get instructions.
4. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.
5.Taking into consideration the monetary transaction between the petitioner and the 4th respondent and the submissions made by the learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner and that the petitioner has borrowed a sum of Rs.1,50,00,000/- on 11.03.2020 and subsequently the petitioner has repaid Rs.1,70,00,000/- on various dates upto 12.09.2020 with interest and still, the 4th respondent is demanding Rs.1,30,00,000/- and in order to meet out his demand, he has sent some rowdy elements. Therefore, the petitioner has filed a representation on 19.10.2020 seeking adequate police protection and the respondent police has stated that they received the complainant only yesterday. However, the respondent police is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.10.2020 in accordance with law.
With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No Costs.
