ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for a mandamus to direct the respondent to forthwith consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.12.2013 seeking for correction of revenue records pertaining to his property at Old Survey No.173/10, New Survey No.302 at Vathittapuram Village, Thittakudi Taluk.
2. According to the petitioner, his mother as well as his sister purchased the aforementioned property under two sale deeds both dated 11.04.1958 and registered as document Nos.394 of 1958 and 395 of 1958 on the file of the Sub Registrar, Thittakudi.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that subsequently, it was partitioned under registered partition deed dated 17.08.1984, registered as document No.986 of 1984 on the file of the Sub Registrar, Thittakudi between the family members and the aforementioned property was allotted to the petitioner.
4. Further, it is the case of the petitioner that ever since the partition deed, the petitioner is in possession and enjoyment of the property.

The petitioner gave a representation dated 02.12.2013 to the respondent requesting him to make rectification in the revenue records, pursuant to the partition deed dated 17.08.1984, registered as document No.986 of 1984. According to him, till date the said representation was not considered. In such circumstances, this Writ Petition has been filed.
6. Heard Mr.K.Selvaraj, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondent.

The learned Government Advocate has also got instructions from the respondent which is also placed before this Court today that the respondent is willing to hold an enquiry after hearing the necessary parties with regard to the request made by the petitioner under his representation dated 02.12.2013.
8. Recording the submissions of the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, this Court directs the respondent to consider the representation dated 02.12.2013 of the petitioner requesting for correction of revenue records in respect of his property at Old Survey No.173/10, New Survey No.302 at Vathittapuram Village, Thittakudi Taluk, after hearing the necessary parties including the petitioner and pass final orders in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
9. With the above said direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
