O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.04.2018 and provide appropriate police protection to the life and liberty of the petitioner, her husband and her family members within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The fact of the case is that the petitioner married one Mr.Paranthaman, 25 years, who belongs to Schedule Caste community. Now the petitioner and her husband and his family suffering harassment based on the false complaint preferred by the parents of the petitioner and now the fifth respondent also colluded with them. Hence the petitioner sought issue of direction to the respondents for providing police protection.

2. In view of the limited prayer sought for in the present petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.04.2018 and pass appropriate orders, within a period of four weeks from the date of the receipt of a copy of this Order.

3. With the above observation, the criminal original petition is disposed of.
