ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent police to file final report pertaining to the petitioner's complaint dated 15.11.2014 which was registered in Crime No.83 of 2014 under Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of (Harassment of Women) Act and under Section 506(1) I.P.C., the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and taking into account the nature of the allegations made in the complaint, a blanket direction to file a final report cannot be given and instead, it would be in the interest of justice, a direction is issued to the respondent police to complete the investigation and either file a final report or closure report as the case may be, as expeditiously as possible.

4. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
