This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to direct the third respondent to release the original sale deed bearing Document No.P.99/2001 and subsequently renumbered as 2661/2001.

2 Heard Mr.O.R.Santhanakrishnan, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.B.Anand, learned Government Advocate for the respondent and perused the records.

3 According to the petitioner, the sale document was assigned temporary registration number on the ground that true value is not set forth in the document by the petitioner. But, this Court in C.M.A.No.1981 of 2004 held that it was properly stamped by the petitioner, hence, the document should be released forthwith.

4 The learned Government Advocate submitted that the third respondent is ready to release the document to the petitioner and the letter of the third respondent dated 02.02.2008, in that regard, has been produced before this Court for perusal.

5 Recording the above submission of the learned Government Advocate, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
