Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to promote the petitioner to the post of Lecturer (Selection Grade) with effect from 01.01.1996 and the post of Reader with effect from 26.09.1996 with all consequential benefits, including payment of arrears and allowances in the said post in terms of order DCE Na.Ka.1321/J1/2012-2 dated 07.02.2013 issued by the second respondent.

When the writ petition was taken up for hearing on 20.01.2021, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, the matter was directed to be posted "for dismissal" on 28.01.2021.
