ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent police to register the F.I.R., based on the complaint dated 04.04.2015 against Mr.Prashanth and his family members in C.S.R.No.205 of 2015 dated 04.04.2015, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3. The petitioner/defacto complainant is the wife and she has made allegations against her husband. The Police cannot directly register the case because, the matter is normally sent to the Social Welfare Officer for enquiry. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with direction to the respondent police to expedite the enquiry in accordance with law.
