This Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to extend the time granted by this Court in order dated 15.07.2021 made in CMP No.10390 of 2021 to comply with the conditions imposed by this Court in order dated 15.03.2021 made in the above CRP (PD) No.3562 of 2017 for an 1/4

another period of four months.

2. This Court by order dated 15.03.2021, disposed of the Civil Revision Petition, thereby directing the petitioner to deposit the arrears of maintenance for a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs only) within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order and on compliance of the said order, the divorce petition filed by the petitioner shall be restored and the same was directed to be disposed of within a period of six months thereafter.

3. Thereafter, the petitioner filed a Miscellaneous Petition in CMP No.10390 of 2021 for extension of time to comply with the said order. This Court by order dated 15.07.2021 extended the time to comply with the condition within six weeks. Even then, the petitioner failed to comply with the order passed by this Court and again filed the present petition for extension of time for deposit of the amount as directed by this Court. This Court already modified the interim order passed by the Court below, as the petitioner shall pay a sum of Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only) to the respondent and Rs.4,000/- (Rupees four thousand 2/4

only) to his daughter continuously without fail till the disposal of the divorce petition. There are huge sum of arrears with regard to interim maintenance.

3. However, the petitioner failed to deposit the amount as directed by this Court. Therefore, this Court finds no merit in the petition. Accordingly, the Civil Miscellaneous Petition stands dismissed. No cost. 31.08.2021 Speaking/Non-speaking order Index: Yes/No Internet : Yes/No Lpp 3/4
