The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent herein to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 01.10.2015 by ordering re-activation of the petitioner's Registration Certificate's TIN No.33933320860 issued under the Tamil Nadu Value Added Tax Act.

2.Mr.S.Kanmani Annamalai, learned Additional Government Pleader (Tax) taking notice for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to dispose of the representation within a stipulated time.

3.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 01.10.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
