ORDER

Seeking a direction to the second respondent herein i.e., the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Pallavaram, Chennai - 600 043 to take necessary action in respect of petitioner's complaint dated on 16.12.2015 and to register the case within a stipulated period of time in accordance with law, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. It appears that on the complaint given by the petitioner, petition enquiry is pending and that the petitioner was also https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

directed to appear before the respondent police on 18.02.2015. The petitioner did not appear before the respondent police. 4.This Courts directs the petitioner to co-operate with the enquiry and appear before the Investigating Officer and this Court further directs the third respondent to register a case if any congnizable offence is made out and act in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)]. 5.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
